About the Role & Program:

? How do ABC News programs, both on broadcast television and in the streaming space, fare among different audiences and how can they do better?

Our team works across the ABC News organization to understand these questions and more through a combination of measurement reporting using quantitative methodologies! If selected for this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Research.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in New York, NY from June 2026-January 2027.

What You Will Do:

This internship, supporting the ABC News Consumer Insights team, explores the attitudes and behaviors that contribute to news viewership as well as reporting on that viewership across platforms.

Assisting the Senior Managerand Managerson projects specific to ABC News programs and properties

Aidingin quantitative research:utilizingsoftware to generate data,data analysis, report-making, and presentationsfor clients

Assistingin creatingandmaintainingratings reports & analysis on a regular basis

Monitoring several sources of syndicated research andsynthesizing intodigestible reports for ABC News partners

Cultivating insights on different audience groupsacross various demographics anddiverse audiences toadviseviewergrowth strategies

Helping to create a set of templates to aid in data visualization and presentations?

Required Qualifications & Skills:

A strong passion for understanding the motivations and behaviors related to news viewership

Experience creating aesthetically pleasingExcel,PowerPointand Word documents, as well as emails

Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare analysesundertimecritical deadlines

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Basic knowledge in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Strong time management and organization skills

A strong interest in News and Entertainment programs?

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Tableau, or similar data visualization/analysis tools

Previousexperience in an analytical field, preferably in news and/or media?

Education:

Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year

Majoringin Journalism, Communications, Statistics, Research field, Marketing (but not limited to those areas).

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements :

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class attimeof application OR currentlyparticipatingin a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You mayonly work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

Be at least 18 years of age

Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in New York, NY from June 2026-January 2027.

Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.

Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship,40 hourseach week.

Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in theNew York, NYarea.

Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work in the New York, NY area.

The pay rate for this role in New York, New York is $22.50 per hour.
