TEKsystems is hiring a Sales Representative to assist a client located in Branchburg, NJ.

This position is a permanent placement with no contract period! Also, this position would offer a hybrid schedule.

The ideal candidate is credible with educators, confident with administrators, and procurement.

Job Description

This role is responsible for driving sales and long-term relationships within K-12 school districts. This can be accomplished by positioning learning environments-not just furniture-as a strategic investment that supports instruction, student engagement, and institutional outcomes.

Responsibilities

-Build and execute a territory plan to grow K-12 revenue across public, charter, and private schools

-Identify and develop new opportunities in target districts and schools; maintain a healthy top-of-funnel pipeline

-Presenting to and influencing school leadership, including principals, superintendents, curriculum directors, and facilities leaders

-Monitor and respond to RFPs/RFQs/ITBs for K-12 furniture

-Establish a presence with decision-makers (superintendents, business administrators, facility directors, principals) and influencers (teachers, IT, librarians, school boards)

-Collaborate with internal designers on layouts, finish palettes, renderings, and spec sheets; coordinate revisions quickly

Qualifications

3+ years' experience working with educators and school administrators

Experience navigating educational systems

Ability to discuss budgets, ROI, timelines and competitive differentiation

Ability to network and present at events

Pay

$80,000/ year
