ROLE SUMMARY
Primarily responsible for effectively communicating and assisting in the execution of the Subaru of America (SOA) national brand strategy at the Region/Zone and retailer level. Manages brand strategy initiatives related to "More than a Car Dealer," including the Dealer to Retailer initiative and Retailer of the Year. Serves as a critical communication liaison for SOA executives, SOA Marketing Department, and Field team. Serves as the strategic business owner of the Subaru Ad Fund (SAF) Program and Carmichael Lynch Retailer Brand team and the field liaison for Soft Ad Groups (SAGs). The expected tenure in role is 2.5+ years.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Subaru Ad Fund (SAF): Manages all aspects of planning, development, and implementation of the SAF Program. Manages the scope of work and partnership with program administrator, Ansira. Performs, organizes, and enhances training activity for Field team, Subaru of America (SOA) Marketing stakeholders, and retailers. Facilitates program and reporting enhancements. Acts as day-to-day program contact for Regional Marketing Managers and Zone Retailer Marketing Managers. Ensures the enforcement of policies and procedures. Partners with SOA Legal and Accounting.
Carmichael Lynch Retailer Brand Team: Provides strategic direction and oversight to the Carmichael Lynch Retailer Brand team. Oversees implementation of brand strategy, communication plans, content, and progress.
Communication: Facilitates two-way dialogue between SOA Marketing, Field, and retailers - formally, informally, and in-person, including frequent calls with stakeholders, to ensure proper execution of the brand strategy. Maintains responsibility for coordinating meetings/communications with the Marketing Subcommittee of the National Retailer Advisory Board (NRAB). Serves as primary liaison between Sales/Executive leadership and Marketing Operations.
Soft Ad Groups (SAGs): Leads field engagement/communication in the planning, development, and execution of SAGs. Collaborates closely with Media and Advertising teams along with other key stakeholders (Accounting, Distribution, Information Technology [IT], Carmichael Lynch) for ongoing management and evolution of SAGs.
Love Promise Recognition Programs: Manages process for Retailer of the Year and Zone of the Year recognition programs. Builds business case for retailer selection for award for the SOA executive team. Works with SOA Field and Advertising teams to ensure that all marketing for these programs is properly executed. Leads coordination with SOA Retail Operations Training on the HEART Award.
Training: Serves as lead organizer of the Management Associate program Marketing rotation and new Zone Retailer Marketing Manager onboarding. Serves as leading coordinator of Foundations modules pertaining to SAF and Love Promise. Performs field training and cross-departmental training for various brand strategy programs, such as Love Promise Community Commitment Award, Love Promise stories, and A Retailer You Can Love.
Reporting: Partners with Field Operations to lead monthly executive meetings on marketing demand and sales. Provides strategic direction and guidance on the design on field/retailer reporting.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads SAF expo spaces for National Business Conference (NBC), Aftersales Business Conference (ABC), and National Training Conference (NTC), as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS & PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving, project management, and collaborative skills.
Passionate about developing self and others. Demonstrated leadership qualities to develop two (2) Specialists.
Superior proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Subaru of America (SOA) Field experience required. Must have thorough understanding of SOA Regional/Zone operations and Love Promise programs
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree and at least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience required.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Office Location: Camden, NJ apart of the Greater Philadelphia Area (Philly)
Hybrid Role: Hybrid Role - Remote work 2 days per week (after 90 days) [Wednesdays & Fridays]
Travel Required: 20-30%
COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $111500 - $168,900 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additionally, this role is bonus-eligible, with a target bonus percentage that provides an opportunity to earn even more based on your performance. (Internal Job Grade: M2)
