Job Title: Janitorial Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Janitorial Worker responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various areas including restrooms, production floors, breakroom areas, and office spaces. This role involves tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and disinfecting frequent touchpoints.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, production floors, breakroom areas, offices, and other common areas.

Dust, sweep, mop, scrub, and disinfect frequent touchpoints such as door handles, vending machines, and timeclocks.

Remove trash and maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Perform routine inspections of different areas within the facility to ensure cleanliness standards are met.

Essential Skills

Experience in custodial work, cleaning, janitorial services, and sanitation.

Proficient in trash removal and housekeeping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in industrial cleaning and sanitation.

Work Environment

This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 7 am to 3:30 pm. The work environment is structured and supportive, ensuring that all tools and equipment necessary for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation are readily available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
