Summary:
Leadsand coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse by performing the following duties.
EssentialFunctions:
Plans layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing,maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
Studiesrecordsandrecommendsremedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess stock.
Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and todetermineadequacy of stock levels.
Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
Traces history of items todeterminereasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
Determineswork procedures, prepares work schedules, andexpeditesworkflow.
Issues written and oral instructions.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Studies andstandardizesprocedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
Adjusts errors and complaints.
This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $27.50 to $33.42 per hour.

Minimum Requirements
RequiredQualifications:
1-2 years related experience
Forklift certified or ability to become forklift certified
PreferredEducation & Experiences:
Experience in similar food industry
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities(KSAs):
Ability to read andcomprehendsimple instructions, shortcorrespondenceand memos.
Strong communicationskills and ability toproblem solve.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure including whole numbers,fractionsand decimals.
Ability to compute rate,rationand percentages
Microsoft office skills
Work Environment:
Production and external environment.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
