Description We are looking for a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to HR operations, including legal compliance, employee benefits, and administrative processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR functions and be adept at handling sensitive legal and employee-related matters.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage legal documents and forms related to HR operations.

Conduct thorough background checks for new team members and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment and updates.

Draft and handle legal correspondence, ensuring all communication aligns with regulations.

Support daily HR administrative tasks such as recordkeeping and policy implementation.

Collaborate with team members to address employee inquiries and concerns effectively.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with legal standards.

Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.

Provide guidance to employees regarding HR-related issues and benefit options. Requirements - Proven experience in human resources administration and related functions.

Knowledge of legal forms and correspondence within HR processes.

Familiarity with conducting background checks and maintaining compliance.

Strong understanding of employee benefit programs and administration.

Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.

Ability to communicate effectively and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Proficiency in HR software and tools for efficient workflow.
