Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support our clients with critical accounting activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a versatile accounting professional to make an immediate impact in a dynamic environment.

Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid, BART Accessible)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Duration: 4-6 Months (Potential for Extension)

Responsibilities

Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.

Assist with month-end close processes.

Prepare and review journal entries and supporting documentation.

Analyze variances and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Other accounting related duties as needed

Requirements

5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or lead role.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and end-of-year close procedures.

Proficiency in Excel and major accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
