At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling - to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today's mission and stay ahead of tomorrow's threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.
In Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work together with our customers.

It also includes coordinating biannual Weapons School support with subject-matter experts and collaborating with Warfighters to accelerate validation of tactics and capability improvements. The ideal candidate is a highly autonomous, mission-focused communicator with strong technical depth, professional judgment, and the humility to be transparent about knowledge gaps while rapidly learning and delivering results.
Qualifications You Must Have
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics or Math and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.
Experience with requirements development and testing
Test environment integration and verification experience
Experience supporting Field test support activities
Experience with Test architecture development
Experience with Product test architecture deployment

Experience in the design of lifecycle, integration, test and/or analysis of complex technology systems.
Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer
Warfighter-centered mindset (focusing on how we can make them more lethal and survivable)
High integrity and candor (comfortable saying "I do not know," and committed to accurate, transparent follow-up)
Strong interpersonal effectiveness (builds trust across pilots, active-duty analysts and engineers, government SPO personnel, and Raytheon engineers and leadership)
Proactive communication (keep stakeholders informed, close loops, escalate appropriately, and reduce ambiguity)
High autonomy and ownership (self-directed, reliable, and effective without close supervision)
Analytical rigor (clarify the underlying questions, validate assumptions, and confirm @context and intent to understand how to address the Warfighter's needs)
Technical credibility (translate operational problems into engineering-relevant language and vice versa)
Adaptability with changing personnel (Many of the Operational Test personnel change frequently, engage with new pilots/analysts/engineers and establish rapport continually)
Collaboration and coordination (align SMEs, schedule academic support for Weapons School, and integrates inputs across multiple squadrons at Nellis)
Professionalism (discretion, respectful conduct, and consistent reliability)
Active and Existing DoD clearance preferred.
