The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is seeking a Fleet and Warehouse Specialist. The Fleet and Warehouse Specialist is part of the Administration Bureau. This position will be located at our Southwest Regional Office located in Nampa, ID. This is a year-round temporary benefited position expected to work up to 30 hours per week.

General Information:
Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
Responsibilities:
Process and coordinate the timely shipment of IDFG season and rules brochures to regional offices, license vendors, and external customers.
Receive, unload, and stock large quantities of printed materials in designated warehouse locations using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Process and distribute IDFG uniform items in a timely and accurate manner.
Process new vehicle paperwork, including titling, registration, and data entry into the Fleet management system.
Ability to drive/operate trucks, SUV, and off-road vehicles.
Provide excellent customer service and support to Fleet customers and field staff.
Perform assigned financial duties, including P-Card transaction coding and reconciliation.
Identify, research, and correct errors or discrepancies across multiple computer systems.
Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and other financial and operational records.
Assist in coordinator of service appointments for fleet assets.
Prepare fleet vehicles for public auction.
Conduct professional phone communications with vendors, field staff, and other state agencies.
Answer incoming calls promptly, providing accurate information and courteous assistance.
Review, complete, and process financial documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies prior to approval or recommendation for approval.
Utilize computer systems to retrieve, enter, update, and edit financial and operational data.
Explain requirements, processes, and procedures clearly to internal customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: (These qualifications are required.)
Experience providing administrative, financial, and operational support in an office, warehouse, or fleet environment. (Typically gained by at least one year of experience coordinating shipments of materials or publications, processing vehicle paperwork including titling and registration, coding and reconciling financial transactions, maintaining operational and financial records, entering and retrieving data in computerized systems, identifying and correcting errors or discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, or regulations.)
Experience managing inventory, receiving, stocking, and distributing materials. (Typically gained through work experience handling shipments, maintaining inventory records, distributing supplies or uniform items, and supporting warehouse or supply operations.)
Experience providing customer service and professional communication. (Typically gained by at least one year of experience assisting internal or external customers, responding to inquiries by phone or in person, explaining processes and requirements clearly, and coordinating with vendors, staff, or other agencies.)
Experience processing financial transactions and maintaining supporting documentation. (Typically gained by at least one year of experience coding, reconciling, reviewing, or approving purchase card transactions, invoices, or other financial documents, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, or policies.)
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
Valid driver's license
