What You Will Be Doing The VP, Credit Analyst is responsible supporting the production team through financial analysis, underwriting, structuring, documenting, and monitoring existing and prospective client relationships, consistent with our Client Service Standards, and with minimal supervision or oversight. How You Will Get the Job Done Analysis & Underwriting: Prepares financial spreads and credit presentations that sufficiently and appropriately summarize the sources of repayment using a risk-based approach. Demonstrates expertise and experience in analyzing and underwriting complex credits. Work product would include historical and projected business and personal cash flow, global cash flow, collateral analysis of real and personal property, understanding / analysis of economic and competitive environment of the borrower and/or industry, recommending appropriate covenants, monitoring and other structural and risk mitigating components of the credit accommodation. Maintains knowledge of the Bank s Loan Policy. Credit Administration: Assist lenders with on-going credit administration and portfolio management including the periodic review of borrower reporting, updating ticklers, and ongoing account monitoring for compliance with reporting requirements and covenants. Set up and maintain electronic credit files. May review and approve credit actions as designated in Loan Policy. Documentation: Reads, reviews and understands different loan documentation. Demonstrates expertise and experience to review documentation of all components of the approved credit accommodation. Collaboration: Works collaboratively across credit and lending teams to identify opportunities for enhanced client service. Accompanies lenders on client visits when necessary. Serves as an expert resource for other analysts and provides backup to fellow analysts. May supervise the work of other analysts. May assist credit managers with special projects. Productivity: Provides prompt turnaround on customer and credit requests, while communicating the status of loans in process with lender and/or credit managers. Demonstrates the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and oversight. Professional & Educational Experience You Bring A Bachelor s Degree from four-year College or University with emphasis on business, finance, accounting, or statistics; a minimum of 7 years of experience in banking in a similar role (e.g. commercial and consumer lending/credit analysis); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Final offers will vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and Bank performance.
