Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a Contract basis in Auburn, Washington. In this role, you will manage financial transactions, focusing on collections and cash applications, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and has a strong background in accounts receivable processes.

Responsibilities:

Handle accounts receivable tasks, including billing and payment processing.

Conduct commercial collections to ensure timely receipt of outstanding payments.

Apply cash payments accurately to customer accounts.

Monitor account balances and resolve discrepancies effectively.

Communicate with clients regarding overdue payments and payment plans.

Maintain detailed and organized records of financial transactions.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations.

Generate reports on receivables and collections for management review.

Assist with audits and compliance checks related to accounts receivable.

Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries and concerns. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.

Proficiency in cash applications and collections processes.

Strong knowledge of billing functions and financial systems.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.

Ability to analyze and resolve account discrepancies effectively.

Familiarity with financial reporting and documentation practices.

Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
