Job Description:
At Regions, the Consumer Strategic Program Function Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategies for one or more key Consumer Bank Consumer programs. This role aligns with enterprise strategy, ensuring consistency and integration across Consumer banking channels and services. The manager will work cross-functionally with Consumer Bank support teams, technology, cybersecurity, product development, retail administration, and external partners to achieve strategic objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
Leads the planning and execution of strategic program initiatives to enhance customer experience, improve efficiency and effectiveness, and mitigate risk
Serves as the business owner for key Consumer Bank strategic program solutions, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise strategies
Acts as the liaison between business units and technical teams, translating business requirements into actionable strategies
Designs, delivers, and maintains program frameworks and collaborates with partners to monitor and enhance risk-based models
Partners with Consumer Bank leadership to drive adoption and training initiatives for new tools and processes
Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program effectiveness
Supports incident response and risk mitigation efforts related to the strategic program area
Stays informed on industry trends and regulatory changes related to strategic program area and assesses impact on Consumer Bank operations
Ensures adherence to banking regulatory requirements and customer experience standards
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field
Ten (10) years of experience in strategic execution, product management, or customer experience
Preferences
Master's degree in a related field
Strong knowledge of subject matter area, banking regulatory compliance frameworks, and risk management
Experience in financial services, banking technology, or other consumer-facing industries
Skills and Competencies
Ability to lead internal and cross-functional teams to be a team player
Demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management capabilities
Extensive knowledge of department processes
Motivated and high caliber individual will have direct responsibility to formulate Best-in-Class Customer Segmentation and proposition, deepen engagement via cross-sell and upsell, improve sales and retention, and enhance customer experience along the entire customer journey for both individual life and corporate business

The Lead, Retail Bank Strategy & Insights partners directly with the Head of the Retail Bank to drive the most important strategic priorities. This role delivers actionable insights, supports long-term planning, and partners with Retail leadership to strengthen customer relationships, elevate channel performance, and drive meaningful business outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
Lead development of the Retail Bank "North Star", multi-year strategy, and long-term roadmap
Conduct strategic analysis on customer behavior, frontline performance, digital adoption, and competitive dynamics
Lead Retail business unit review insights and executive-level performance narratives
Track long-term performance against Retail strategic priorities and identify emerging risks
Partner with Digital, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and branch network to drive alignment and execution

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
