Job Title: Medical Assembler

Shift: Multiple shifts available (cleanroom & non-cleanroom areas)

Environment: Medical device manufacturing | Cleanroom

As a Medical Assembler , you'll start in the coiling department within a cleanroom environment and be cross-trained across multiple assembly areas over time. This is a great opportunity for candidates with medical manufacturing experience who enjoy detailed, hands-on work with small components.

What You'll Do

Operate coil winding machines to wrap coils around spindles for medical components

Inspect and manipulate fine wires using microscopes (30-50% of the day)

Perform deburring and inspection tasks in the molding area using hand tools such as pliers and files

Assemble components using microscopes and small hand tools in CEA assembly areas

Operate laser welding machines and complete detailed welding tasks

Work with automated presses and stamping machines in implantable housings

Follow written work instructions and maintain high precision and quality standards

Sit or stand for extended periods depending on the task

Cleanroom Requirements

Wear required gowning: smock, booties, hair net, and eye protection

Follow cleanroom protocols and quality standards at all times

What You Need

Experience working with microscopes and/or in a cleanroom environment

4-6+ months of medical manufacturing or small-part assembly experience

Ability to work with fine components and maintain strong attention to detail

Preferred / Additional Skills

Experience with catheter assembly, coil winding, or laser welding

Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machines

Good hand dexterity (sewing or similar fine-motor work is a plus)

Willingness to cross-train and learn multiple assembly processes

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.78/hr.
