Laboratory Assistant

Job Description

This role involves providing crucial support to the entire laboratory by ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of lab equipment and managing shipments. The position requires a proactive approach to responsibilities and a self-motivated attitude.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of lab equipment by washing and cleaning.

Manage and receive shipments efficiently.

Dispose of waste in accordance with safety protocols.

Ensure quality control throughout laboratory processes.

Essential Skills

Self-motivation and proactive attitude.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Comfort with repetitive tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Possess a 'go-getter' personality.

Capability to identify tasks that need completion without direct instruction.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of supporting the entire lab with tasks such as washing lab equipment, waste disposal, and receiving shipments. The position offers a flexible start time within the first shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
