Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in facility design and construction environments.
Experience in the design or operation of critical mechanical cooling systems (e.g., HVAC, chillers, fan coils).
Experience working in a cross-functional environment with external vendors, design engineers, and operations teams.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant field or a professional engineering license.
Experience with thermal and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., Cadence Reality/6Sigma, AFT Fathom, FloTherm, or ANSYS).
Experience with pipe stress analysis.

We solve design and engineering problems safely, on time, at scale, with the right balance of value and reliability. With a focus on scale, we make things simple and easy to deploy and operate. We keep the existing fleet active and supported through its full life cycle.
As a Data Center Mechanical Engineer, you will prepare all @types of documents including Statement of Work (SOW), engineering reports, design docs, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, drawing markup, budget, schedule, and commissioning program docs.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Collaborate with core team to understand and develop the Data Center (DC) mechanical designs starting with Basis Of Design (BOD) to Issue For Construction (IFC) for new DC projects build outs and infrastructure upgrades.
Generate scope of work for the equipment portions for major infrastructure upgrades based on project needs. Work with internal teams to update and document the configuration.
Own mechanical, fire suppression, and plumbing system issues during design, detailed design, procurement, bidding, manufacturing, delivery, and installation on site.
Interface with Global Commodities team, the manufacturers and the various global and local engineering teams to deliver the mechanical, fire suppression, and plumbing solutions needed for each project.
Collaboration and understanding of interrelated issues is expected. Maintain the internal design specifications, drawings and standards to the latest configurations.
