Description We are looking for an Accountant to join our team on a short-term basis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position is fully on-site and offers the opportunity to contribute to the accounting operations of a healthcare-focused organization during a medical leave. You will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting day-to-day accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

Perform credit card invoice reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Prepare and post journal entries to maintain up-to-date financial records.

Manage general ledger activities, including maintenance and data updates.

Enter financial data with precision and verify for accuracy.

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by management.

Utilize Sage Intacct and Excel software to complete accounting tasks efficiently.

Collaborate with team members to address accounting inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain an organized workspace, adhering to business casual standards. Requirements - Proficiency in accounts payable processes and account reconciliation.

Familiarity with medical billing procedures and regulations.

Experience working with Sage Intacct and Excel software.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and leadership.

Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.

Availability to work Monday through Friday during first shift hours.
