Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Mukilteo, Washington. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to various accounting functions while honing your expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on role, managing daily accounting tasks with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable, including verifying invoices and issuing payments.

Handle accounts receivable tasks such as generating invoices and tracking payment collections.

Prepare accurate journal entries and review financial data for reporting purposes.

Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.

Collaborate with team members on financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making.

Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all billing and invoice processing activities.

Utilize Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets and analyze financial information.

Assist with additional accounting duties and projects as assigned by management. Requirements - At least 3 years of experience in accounting roles, including accounts payable and receivable.

Proficiency in processing invoices and managing billing operations.

Strong knowledge of journal entries and financial reporting practices.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Ability to perform account reconciliations with attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.

Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in financial matters.
