As the Global Manufacturing Finance Strategy Analyst , you will be involved in multiple facets of manufacturing strategy including strategic project management, manufacturing financial controls and delivery of next-generation business processes in support of Global Manufacturing Engineering (GME).
This role involves leading and contributing to multiple projects that are of strategic importance to GME including decisions on making vs buying parts, improving financial impacts through manufacturing decision making, holistic views of decision outcomes and how those influence decision-making and competitive benchmarking.
In addition to strategic projects, the analyst will spend time on financial control approvals and moving manufacturing strategy into modernized processes. In the financial control space, the analyst will also be responsible for building dashboards or other tracking mechanisms that showcase improvements, successes and areas of improvement. This position demands a high degree of discretion, the ability to?maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial data and strategic plans, and the capability to?navigate complex organizational dynamics?while driving critical initiatives. You will be instrumental in?thinking through undefined problems to come up with innovative, data-driven solutions?that enhance efficiency and strategic alignment across GME.
What you'll do...
Lead and contribute to diverse, strategic projects of value to manufacturing teams
Collaborate with manufacturing strategy team members on training and roll out of new processes in both pilot and end-goal execution phases
Develop dashboards that track key project and team metrics including performance, timelines, open items, next steps and completion percentages
Create leadership presentations that tell the story behind in-process projects including history, evolved approaches, recommendations and how current problems are will be solved
Contribute to financial control receipt approvals as a member of larger team that owns manufacturing financial controls
Work with strategy team members on the identification and evaluation of new technologies and software solutions?to significantly improve business processes and increase efficiency across GME
Contribute to the implementation and administration of new business tools, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems and providing comprehensive training to employees on their effective use
Utilize technology to drive continuous process improvement, streamlining workflows and reducing redundancies
Effectively articulate the business need and value of proposed solutions and process changes to gain buy-in and drive adoption across various stakeholder groups, demonstrating the ability to convince others of strategic imperatives

Conduct in-depth data analysis and prepare insightful reports to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and inform strategic decisions

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
Experience contributing to and leading strategic projects and initiatives
History of managing stakeholder collaboration and leadership presentations
Prior user experience with modern business intelligence and data management tools (e.g., Alteryx, Qlik Sense, SharePoint, Power BI).
Must have ability to work cooperatively with partners from different skill teams and regions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and conciseness.
Ability to be discrete and treat confidential data appropriately

Highly motivated self-starter capable of delivering objectives with minimal direct supervision

Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically to solve complex, ambiguous problems?with practical and impactful solutions.
5+ years of progressive experience in automotive manufacturing

This position is a salary grade 5 - salary grade 8 and ranges from $63,480- $162,120.
