As a TERM Vice President of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for the executing the full lifecycle recruiting process at all levels, including mid and senior level roles; serves as a subject matter expert in relevant areas of talent acquisition strategies, inclusion & diversity, policies, and objectives. Focus may be on internal talent to increase the number of jobs filled with existing colleagues. Develop and maintain relationships with managers, through advocating, enhancing, and promoting Talent Acquisition & Staffing strategies and best practices. Client-centric (i.e., candidates, hiring managers, etc.) and consistently seeks to improve service delivery using stakeholder feedback.
Position Expectations:
Regularly leads recruitment status meetings with managers and client teams. Serves as a mentor to less experienced department colleagues. Participates and/or leads special
Develops strong relationships across the HR function and with senior leadership in a specific division/function to gain understanding of talent recruitment needs. Consults with hiring managers on recruitment trends, target companies, innovative sourcing techniques to ensure a diverse candidate pool and talent pipeline.
Crafts job postings balancing job requirements and a compelling talent brand. Ensures recruitment strategies align with organization's talent brand.
Executes the full lifecycle recruiting process for a specific division/function for external and/or internal candidates in accordance with recruiting and staffing compliance guidelines, processes and procedures. Conducts screening of incoming resumes/applications, including pre-interviews, for alignment to position requirements before making recommendations to hiring managers.
May coordinate interview scheduling directly with the candidate and hiring manager or utilize Recruiting Coordinators.
Works alongside managers to determine appropriate interview questions providing coaching when needed, to elicit information from the candidate regarding their knowledge, skills and abilities. Compiles and reviews interview feedback from candidates and interview team to make a recommendation for the hiring manager's next steps in the process.
Works with HR partners and the hiring manager to collaboratively develop an appropriate offer to selected candidate that is within compensation guidelines and market levels, ensuring a competitive offer.
Conduct reference checks if applicable for the role. Extends and negotiates offers to candidates. Assists less experienced colleagues with complex offers or negotiations.
Maintains and provides accurate and concise records and reports on the overall recruiting effectiveness and compliance for a specific division/function. Provides input to and helps develop guidelines and procedures for the overall recruiting function.
Partner with Recruitment Manager and Compensation to discuss offer parameters and extend and negotiate all offers.
Ensure that the applicant tracking system (Workday) and the Contact Management System (CMS) are consistently and effectively used to provide accurate recruitment metrics and compliance.
Review monthly/quarterly recruitment metrics to ensure target time to fill, aging and other TAS metrics are on track.
Attend career fairs and other networking events as a representative of the Bank and TAS.
The right candidate will have:

7+ years experience in recruiting/sourcing position for financial services organization. Experience recruiting for M&A advisory and investment banking professionals

Agency and in house recruiting experience preferred

Experience conducting searches for high visibility roles

Proven track record of success within a recruitment organization

Creative sourcing, cold calling, and networking techniques

Flexible nature and ability to meet changing demands in a dynamic work environment

Experience with management and development of relationships with candidates and hiring managers

Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members

Superior communication skills both written and verbal

Proficient with applicant tracking databases, as well as, Microsoft Office Suite

Recruiting for financial services/banking industry experience required

Bachelor's degree
The typical base pay range for this role is between $120,000 - $155,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
