Job Summary
The Sr. KCB Product/Segment Manager leads a team responsible for the strategic direction, development, management and execution of consumer products to drive profitability while maintaining a moderate risk profile. The Sr. Manager directs the team in leveraging industry research, competitive information, alternative sources of data, and analytical insights to identify profitable clients while considering business needs, cost-benefit analysis, and risk-reward analysis in deploying a diverse set of products and services. The Sr. Manager also partners with leaders from digital, analytics, underwriting, technology, marketing, asset quality, and risk management to ensure product and service delivery meets the needs of consumer clients.
Responsibilities
Accountable for consumer product strategic direction, development management and execution
Collaborates with executive and senior leaders to align product strategies with business strategies
Leads a team accountable for the design, develop, and decisioning process of consumer product and services
Responsible for consumer product acquisition, credit decisioning and/or product portfolio performance
As a thought leader, collaborates with support partners to build and recommend enhancements to client-focused product and service delivery
Establishes a process and cadence for leveraging industry research, competitive information, alternative sources of data, and analytical insights to identify profitable clients while considering business needs, cost-benefit analysis, and risk-reward analysis
Manages teams to identify and solution product and system inefficiencies that impact client acquisition and the deepening of client relationships
May manage outside vendor relationships to deliver client-focused products and solutions
Leads, coaches and develops an engaged organization of Product Managers and Analysts to meet established performance objectives
Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders for Consumer products and partnerships
Owns risk as a member of the first line of defense
Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Equivalent Work Experience (required)
Master's Degree (preferred)
Experience Qualifications
10+ years Experience in the financial services or comparable industry (required)
10+ years Experience in Product Management, Community Development, Marketing, and Communications with an emphasis on compliance and risk management (preferred)
Tactical Skills
Experience with product roadmap development including deploying, developing, and testing new product capabilities
Superior influencing, consulting, and communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to successfully interact with and relate complex technical information to less technical audiences in common business terms
Exceptional collaborator with proven ability to lead through influence and operate in a matrix organization; Must possess demonstrated presentation skills for diverse audiences.
Proven leadership experience with an ability to establish a culture while driving business outcomes and managing risk
Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative partnerships across multiple teams / groups - this will include both internal and external partners in both direct relationships and matrixed organizations
Operates as an entrepreneur who is intellectually curious, perpetually willing to learn and desires new challenges
Strong business, technical and analytics acumen and experience working with senior leaders and partners to drive business results

Physical Demands
General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.

Occasional travel to include overnight stay.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $128,000.00 - $268,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
