Our client, a community-focused organization dedicated to providing vital services, is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Office team supporting operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate friendliness, strong organizational skills, and a desire to make a positive impact in the community, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Negaunee, MI

Pay Range: $19.00 to $20.00 per Hour, depending on experience

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 1 hour unpaid lunch

What's the Job?

Assist the director with administrative tasks and daily operations

Manage and update files, reports, and statistics for funding and grant purposes

Oversee computer technology, maintain software, and create Excel spreadsheets

Greet visitors, answer phones, and support front desk activities

Coordinate outreach efforts, prepare newsletters, and promote center activities via social media

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED

Minimum of one year of relevant experience or equivalent training

Strong reception and communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet use

Ability to work collaboratively and handle challenging personalities with patience
