The Northwest Louisiana Human Services District's mission is t o increase public awareness of and to provide access for individuals with behavioral health and developmental disabilities to integrated community based services while promoting wellness, recovery, and independence through education and the choice of a broad range of programmatic and community resources.

We are seeking anAdministrative Coordinator 4 to serve in our Fiscal Services Department to assist in ensuring the accounting/billing function of the District is carried out according to policies and procedures, as well as serve as liaison for the outlying clinics and provide administrative support for the Chief Financial Officer.

Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Process all billing denials for the District clinics.
Performs daily billing of Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance claims through the Electronic Health Record.
Serves as primary contact for clinic's Medicaid Application Center.
Provide technical support for all Behavioral Health Clinics, including travelling to all clinics to ensure Support Staff are using the correct process.
Assists in training clinic staff on the aspects of ICANotes Electronic Health Record.
Performs quarterly internal billing audits within the Electronic Health Record to ensure client demographic and insurance information is entered accurately.
Assists with internal clinic billing audits and investigations, collections, posting and managing patient account payment to ensure compliance with Medicaid, Medicare and Third Party Insurance Payers as well as Federal and State regulations.
Assists in the preparation and analysis of monthly statements on billing and collections.
Assists Chief Finance Officer with compiling various monthly and/or quarterly reports along with any special projects as assigned

Career Progression : This position does not participate in a career progression group and will be filled as an Administrative Coordinator 4.
Work Schedule : Work hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday -Friday.
Location: This position will be with the NW LA Human Services District - Fiscal Services Department located at 1310 N Hearne Ave, Shreveport, LA .
Compensation :
The minimum and maximum pay levels for the position is listed below:
Administrative Coordinator 4 - $15.76/hour - $27.01/hour
