Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to managing tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Assist with patent and trademark prosecution processes, including drafting correspondence and maintaining accurate files.

Monitor and manage daily dockets to ensure all deadlines are tracked and addressed promptly.

Perform administrative tasks such as entering time records, coordinating travel arrangements, processing expense reports, and managing client billing.

Conduct thorough reviews of legal filings and documents to ensure precision and compliance with quality standards.

Maintain organized paper and electronic legal files to support streamlined access and workflow.

Collaborate effectively with attorneys and team members to meet client needs and achieve departmental goals.

Provide support for e-filing procedures and court filings as required.

Assist with civil litigation processes, ensuring all calendar and scheduling needs are met.

Proactively identify and solve problems to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal assistant role or similar position.

Strong proficiency in e-filing and court filing procedures.

Demonstrated ability to manage calendars and deadlines effectively.

Experience in civil litigation support.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with attorneys and clients.

High attention to detail and ability to review documents for accuracy.

Competence in maintaining both paper and electronic legal files.

Proven problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative in task management.
