Full Time Contract Title: Manufacturing Technician Location: On Site Dorado PR Length of Contract: 6 months Position Description: As a Manufacturing Technician you will serve as the technical backbone of the production floor. You will handle the setup, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting of sophisticated automated manufacturing equipment. This role bridges the gap between general assembly and engineering, ensuring that high-speed production lines remain operational and compliant with strict FDA quality standards. Responsibilities:

Electromechanical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair failures in complex systems including pneumatics, sensors, and mechanical assemblies.

Automation & Vision: Perform basic adjustments and troubleshooting on PLC-controlled machinery and Cognex/Keyence vision systems to ensure accurate product inspection.

Schematic Interpretation: Use electrical and pneumatic schematics to trace faults and perform component-level replacements.

Computer & Networking: Navigate industrial PC interfaces and assist with basic network connectivity issues within the manufacturing execution systems (MES).

Quality & Compliance: Execute all tasks within a Clean Room environment, ensuring 100% adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation requirements.

Operational Flexibility: Support continuous production by working varied shifts, weekends, and overtime as required by the production schedule.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years of related experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Aerospace preferred).

Basic knowledge in PLC, vision systems, sensors, pneumatics and mechanical systems preferred.

Experience with schematics reading & interpretation.

Knowledge of computers and networks is desirable.

Tools: Proficient in the use of multimeters, calipers, and specialized hand tools.

Education:

Associate Technical Degree (e.g., Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electricity) is required or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
