Summary
The Senior Strategic Financial Analyst supports financial analysis activities across Treasury, Investor Relations, and ad hoc projects, operating in a fast-paced environment with exposure to multiple functional areas.
Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.
Supports and reports to the Director of Finance and Treasurer while also providing support to the Head of Investor Relations with strategic financial guidance to be communicated to company executives
Identify and understand key business drivers across multiple business units. Effectively articulate the issues and recommend solutions and alternatives
Support quarterly treasury activities, including covenant reporting, reconciling FX hedging activities and other ad hoc requests
Maintain and analyze cash forecasts to support companywide liquidity needs which will require engagement with key business leaders across multiple business units.
Assist with quarterly preparation of materials for the Board of Director and Committee meetings.
Support the Head of Investor Relations in the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, Including investor presentations, analysis of financial results, and messaging for investors and analysts
Assist the Director of Finance and Treasurer with various strategic projects, which include contributing to the multi-year planning process, analyses related to capital allocation, M&A activities, calculating investment returns and other ad hoc projects
Provide analytical support or preparation of materials for any debt financing or capital raises
Partner with the Treasury Manager to support day-to-day treasury operations and initiatives
Act as a partner to business unit staff by monitoring and pinpointing ways to enhance unit workflow and process improvements. When necessary, this position must communicate these recommendations to the business units, supporting and driving a culture of continuous improvement
Develop financial models and projections to support planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
Perform research and analysis as required
Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies and relevant legal regulations
Complete financial analyses and other projects accurately and timely
Perform ad hoc Treasury and Investor Relations related requests
Accountable for problem-solving, account analysis and writing commentary and analytical summaries
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; MBA is preferred
5+ years of relevant work experience with a focus on finance and analysis
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required
Strong computer skills with an ability to learn a variety of systems and applications, including OneStream, D365, FactSet and CapitalIQ
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with a focus on Excel
Ability to think creatively to solve problems
Exhibit proficiency in business principles, theories and concepts
Display knowledge in multiple business areas (e.g., financial analysis, capital allocation, operations, human resources, marketing, etc.)
Possess a desire to learn and understand the "how" and "why" behind financial information and communicate the "so what" from analysis
Demonstrate skill and ability to interact with employees at all levels with tact, confidentiality and diplomacy
Display a track record in providing meaningful consultation, education and influence to the business, as well as a history of results-driven decision-making
Maintain skill, ability and flexibility to perform multiple tasks and functions concurrently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail
Provide a proven history of self-management and self-motivation
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to extract and articulate key business issues in a manner that is meaningful to the audience

Industry experience with Treasury, investment banking or Investor Relations
