As a Security Officer - Construction Site Patrol in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will support patients, visitors, and staff with courteous customer service and clear communication, while documenting observations and escalating concerns as needed. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service in a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of patient care areas, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by post assignment.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from clinical staff and/or public responders when needed.

Help to monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with wayfinding, and support staff with de-escalation and security-related presence when requested.

Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate significant events to site leadership, and maintain security-related logs and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
