As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Elmont, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols of common areas, parking lots, and entrances, maintaining a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist guests and tenants with directions and concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail or mall location.

Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and loading zones to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, and/or property damage reports as directed by site procedures.

Monitor entrances, tenant corridors, and common areas for unauthorized access, loitering, and/or policy violations, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.

Document patrols, incidents, and/or service requests in written reports and logs, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
