Position Description:
We are seeking an Operations Analyst (Project Management Support) to join our CGI team in Sacramento, CA
Support the successful execution of business planning, performance reporting, and operational governance activities across the Sacramento Metro in support of the Northwest Business Unit (BU).
This career opportunity has high visibility where you will collaborate closely with the Sacramento Metro Leader, Northwest BU Operations Leader, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of reporting, operational processes, and planning deliverables.
Acts as a connector across functions-translating data into insights, improving operational tools, and driving follow-up on priorities to enable clarity, alignment, and execution.
This role requires a high degree of organization, analytical rigor, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments across stakeholder groups with minimal supervision.
This position is located onsite at our CGI office in Sacramento, CA.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
How you'll make an impact
Business planning & reporting
. Develop and manage planning-related deliverables for activities such as Business Planning, Client meetings, helping metro leader with employee engagement, and internal operation review readiness
. Support creation and refinement of executive-level presentations, dashboards, and summaries that align with corporate standards and timelines
. Partner with BU Operations Leader to maintain structured reporting cadences, tracker hygiene, and dashboard consistency (e.g., Tableau, Excel, SharePoint)
. Independently manage assignments, escalating risks early and ensuring no missed deliverables within scope of control
Operational hygiene & execution support
. Track compliance with operational expectations across the Metro (e.g., timesheets, business enablement tool usage, client meetings, mandatory training)
. Maintain document repositories, templates, organizational charts, and other team infrastructure for planning and reporting
. Support agenda coordination, meeting material preparation, and action tracking for business reviews or governance sessions
Process improvement & efficiency
. Document operational processes and create reusable templates and playbooks to drive consistency
. Identify and implement improvements to reduce friction in execution (e.g., automation pilots, streamlined checklists, reporting accuracy checks)
. Ensure feedback loops are incorporated to continuously improve the quality and utility of operational outputs
Stakeholder engagement & collaboration
. Build trusted relationships with corporate, BU, Metro, and cross-functional stakeholders through consistent communication and support
. Participate in enterprise forums as needed to represent the Sacramento Metro or Northwest BU operations, support alignment, and share best practices
. Manage intake and response to ad hoc data or reporting requests from senior leaders and functional partners

. Reporting & analytics
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $63,800 - $105,300.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $51,600.00 - $81,500.00.
