KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains the following equipment:All bag line equipment, augers, legs, mixers, seed and grain cleaning andconveying equipment.
All pesticide impregnating equipment/pumps.
Servicesoffront-end loaders,forklifts,aircompressors and pneumatic valves.
Pre-shift inspections on allmachines.
Maintainthe Filters on Dust Collection System.
Issues written purchaserequestsfor all the parts and maintenance supplies.
Perform electrical, plumbing, lube and construction activities as needed throughout the facility.
Understanding of the department budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduateor GED.
Basic math skills required.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safemanner.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to work indoorsand outdoors.
Must be able to consistently be able to sit, stand and walk throughout the shift depending on the activity which is being performed.
The presence of airborne dust may require the use of a dust mask respirator depending on the @type of product being transported. A dust maskmight be required following a fit test.
Must wear all personal protective equipment to safely perform maintenance duties.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
