JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary Perform all duties necessary to the
efficient operation of all equipment in the plant. Operate and maintain
plant equipment in accordance with standard work and building
procedures. Responsibilities Monitor and follow all safety preventative
measures and practices, including 5S+ safety guidelines Must be
responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of all plant
electrical equipment and systems Work safely in accordance with
regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner that eliminates
unreasonable risk to health and the environment. Notify management of
unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities and activities which
present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety
and/or environmental incidents to management immediately Train and
direct electricians Establish and maintain records on all electrical
equipment Must be familiar with and have the ability to operate plant
machinery related to job assignments Must be capable of following and
meeting standard work requirements Must be able to use computer programs
to assist in recording data, making labels, printing tooling layouts,
obtaining prints and specifications, printing ship-sets, etc. Promote
positive teamwork Perform all @types of mechanical, hydraulic, and
pneumatic repairs on plant machinery Must be accountable for process,
evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continuous
basis Able to foster professionalism with all associates along with
internal and external customers Design, install, inspect, and maintain
all 480 volt and 120 volt circuitry Modify machinery power circuits to
make them compatible with facility feed lines Test, repair, and replace
electronic circuitry with facility feed lines Design, install, and test
controls and cable systems Have a thorough knowledge of all bearings,
seals, clutches, pumps, gears, etc. Troubleshoot all electrical
equipment, such as motors, transformers, controls, instruments, lights,
heaters, etc. Understand interface between mechanical and electrical
controls Inspect all electrical work to ensure compliance with
applicable codes Work independently in planning, laying out, and
performing assigned machine repair work Machine repair assignments may
consist of preventative maintenance, trouble shooting, overhaul, etc.
