Job Description:
As a Tax Manager, you will provide tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse client base within the construction and real estate industries. Tax consulting includes performing tax research, working with clients on tax matters and implementing special projects. As a specialist in your role, you will work directly with clients and work with tax engagement teams.
Your role will include identifying and implementing tax planning, preparation of tax calculations and management of client relationships. Responsibilities will also include development of staff in a highly interactive team environment. The ideal team member will have strong communication skills, the ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines. Qualifications
BS in Accounting required, Masters in Taxation or LLM is a plus
CPA required
Real Estate Partnership preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting focusing on real estate and construction
Successful engagement and client management skills
Working with the tax team to identify and resolve client issues. We support you to be creative and become an expert so that you can make a difference in your role.
Anticipating and addressing client concerns and resolving problems as they arise.
Experience with growing client relationships
Strong leadership and mentorship experience

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,500.00 - $201,000.00 per year.
