As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Peoria, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations, support access control, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, documentation, and timely notification to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and help maintain visitor management processes, including checking identification, issuing temporary badges, and directing deliveries to approved receiving areas.

Complete detailed shift activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate security-related information during post handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
