QSR Industry Enterprise Architect (Business Technology Architect) is a strategic technology leader responsible for defining, designing, and governing the enterprise architecture that enables QSR operations and omni-channel commerce. This role partners closely with Digital, Restaurant Technology, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, Marketing and Security teams to ensure the enterprise ecosystem supports speed, scalability, efficiency, resilience, and best-in-class guest and team member experiences.
Expertise in combining digital (e-commerce, mobile, marketplaces) and physical (POS, in-store) commerce into a seamless customer journey. Ensures that buying, returns, loyalty, and promotions are consistent across channels to drive both growth and experience.
Your Role:
Managing Enterprise Architect (Business Technology Architect) - Design, deliver and manage complete enterprise architecture solutions, including capability-based roadmaps, target-state architectures, reference architectures, and governance. Demonstrate leadership across the architect community and show a passion for technology, business outcomes, and pragmatic execution.
Translates business outcomes (uptime, order accuracy, speed of service, brand trust, revenue protection) into reliability and observability architectural requirements.
Work as a stream lead at CIO/CTO level for an internal or external client. Lead Capgemini operations relating to market development and/or service delivery excellence.
Own enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap for QSR restaurant and digital ecosystems, aligned to business priorities, growth plans, and operational realities (speed of service, reliability, throughput).
Define architecture standards and governance including reference architectures, patterns, principles, and review processes to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient solutions. Proven ability to apply an architectural framework to an enterprise.
Establishes service reliability principles (availability, latency, scalability, resiliency) aligned to QSR operational realities such as peak hours, promotions, and regional variability.
Act as trusted advisor to CIO/CTO leaders, product owners, and operations executives; translate architecture decisions into business outcomes, risks, and trade-offs.
Lead vendor architecture assessments and RFP support including solution evaluation criteria, target-state alignment, and integration/security considerations
Job Description -
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
12+ years in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technology leadership, ideally within QSR, retail, hospitality, or consumer-facing operational technology environments.
Demonstrated expertise across restaurant and commerce systems (POS, KDS, BOH, ordering, loyalty, payments, delivery integrations).
Experience with QSR Hardware including Kiosk, POS, Printers
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), integration architectures, APIs, microservices, event-driven patterns, and data architecture.
Experience establishing architecture governance, standards, and roadmaps; ability to influence adoption across engineering and product teams.
Proven leadership of architecture teams or cross-functional technical initiatives across multiple workstreams.
Excellent communication, executive stakeholder management, and ability to connect technology choices to measurable business outcomes.
Ability to influence decision makers and drive delivery
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $89,700- $199,600
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
