Hotel Front Desk Agent (Morning)

Position Summary

The Hotel Front Desk Associate (Morning) is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and professional hotel experience. The morning shift focuses on guest check-outs, reservations, billing accuracy, and setting the tone for the day's operations. The shift operation hours are from 7:00AM - 3:00PM)

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and always provide exceptional customer service.

Process guest check-outs accurately, including payments, invoices, and folios.

Handle guest check-ins as needed during morning arrivals.

Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and assist with reservations.

Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.

Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status and guest needs.

Maintain accurate records in the property management system.

Balance cash drawer and complete required shift reports.

Ensure the front desk area remains clean, organized, and professional.

Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer skills; hotel PMS experience a plus.

Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance.

Physical and Schedule Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Must be able to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
