Staff Accountant

Open to Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire candidates

Pay: $45,000-$60,000 annually (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: Boothwyn PA - On-site

Employment Type: Contract, Temp-to-Hire, or Direct Hire

Position Overview

Kelly Services is recruiting for a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations with a focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This is an entry-level accounting opportunity and well-suited for a recent graduate or an early-career accounting professional. Training will be provided on the business, processes, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, review, and match documentation for accounts payable processing

Code and enter AP invoices into the accounting system

Process accounts payable checks as needed

Record financial journal entries

Prepare and process accounts receivable invoices daily

Post AR payments, including checks and electronic payments

Process payments through onsite check deposit

Perform bank reconciliations

Assist with collections efforts as needed

Distribute incoming mail to appropriate employees

Support general accounting functions as assigned

Systems & Tools

Accounting Software: ABAS (user-friendly; training provided)

Strong use of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required (BA/BS in Accounting or related field)

1-2 years of accounting experience preferred (AP and/or AR)

Open to recent accounting graduates

Working knowledge of basic accounting principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow
