Job Descriptions:

Prometheus Energetics is looking for a Human Resources Director to direct the planning, development, implementation, administration, and budgeting of most or all of the following human resource functions: compensation, employment, employee relations, equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, organizational development, talent management, culture, training and company's diversity and inclusion initiatives. Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area through several department managers within the company, recommending and implementing changes to methods.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Advises company management in personnel policy and program matters, making or recommending appropriate decisions as consistent with strategic direction.

Partners with VP to select and develop personnel to ensure efficient operations of talent management throughout the organization.

Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.

Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensure operations effective achievement of objectives.

Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.

Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.

Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers.

Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Office and/or manufacturing environment.

Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, mouse, phones, use tools/equipment).

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Yes, if applicable.

Required Experience:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the Essential Job Functions, including computer skills.

Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.

Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.

Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment and changes, and more.

Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities as it pertains to your job.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or a minimum of 8 years and a Master's degree; or 16 years equivalent work experience.
