Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with our client in Bradenton, Florida to hire an experienced OBGYN Medical Assistant . This is a full-time, onsite position supporting a busy women's health practice. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply with an updated resume.

Position Details

Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $22 to $25/hr (based on experience)

Location: Bradenton FL (South Manatee)

Responsibilities

· Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and clinical information for obstetric and gynecologic patients

· Prepare patients for exams and procedures, ensuring comfort, privacy, and safety

· Assist OBGYN providers with exams and procedures including pelvic exams, Pap smears, prenatal visits, post-operative care, and suture removal

· Review and prepare medical records at least two days prior to scheduled patient visits

· Maintain smooth patient flow and room turnover throughout the clinic day

· Triage walk-in and phone patients appropriately, documenting accurately in the medical record

· Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, lab specimen collection, processing, and CLIA-waived testing

· Administer medications and immunizations per provider orders and established protocols

· Complete medication prior authorizations, DME requests, and referrals in a timely manner

· Ensure provider orders are routed to the appropriate departments and followed through

· Maintain accurate reports, logs, and OB/GYN-specific medical forms (proof of pregnancy, work excuses, physical exams, etc.)

· Clean, pack, and properly handle medical instruments per infection control standards

· Inventory and stock exam rooms daily to ensure readiness

· Maintain open and effective communication with providers, nursing leadership, supervisors, and peers

· Adhere to time and attendance policies as outlined in the employee handbook

· Float to alternate clinic locations as needed to ensure adequate coverage

· Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

· Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA)

· 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred (OBGYN or women's health experience strongly preferred)

· Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute)

· Knowledge of OB/GYN workflows, prenatal care, and women's health clinical support

· Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

· Valid government or state-issued ID
