DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this essential role, you will provide thorough cleaning and disinfecting services in assigned areas of the hospital grounds to maintain a safe, clean, odor-free, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Common housekeeping duties include mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping floors; cleaning windows and dusting furniture; and ensuring all waste is disposed of properly. Work is performed independently and at times with others under the supervision and direction of the Custodial Work Supervisor and/or the Custodial Services Manager.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with 30-minute lunch. Rotating days, weekends and holidays. Hours may change based on operational needs. Overtime and travel as needed. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Free parking! QUALIFICATIONS Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
