As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while delivering strong customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, operating areas, tank farms, loading areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, vehicles, and deliveries; direct visitors and drivers to designated check-in areas in accordance with site rules.

Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as directed by post orders.

Complete detailed shift documentation including patrol logs, incident reports, and maintenance or hazard observations; communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a TSA issued TWIC card.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
