Make an Impact Behind the Scenes in the Utility Industry

Location: Egg Harbor Township, NJ | Pay range: $22 - $24

PDS Tech Commercial , in partnership with a leader in the utility industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Assistant professional to support a critical infrastructure initiative. This role plays an important part in advancing an internal Project, helping ensure accurate service records and supporting long-term compliance goals through 2027.

Role Summary and Impact

As an Administrative Assistant team member, you will support essential operational and administrative functions that directly impact public safety and infrastructure reliability. Your work will help identify unknown service records, support field investigations, and ensure data accuracy while serving as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Research and update service records for the LSLR Project to identify unknowns by 2027

Create and manage work orders through map calls and investigative efforts

Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and other tracking tools

Support customer interactions via phone, email, and in-person communication

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and timely follow-up

Perform general administrative and operational support tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma

Valid Driver's License

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel and Outlook

Customer service experience with a professional and courteous approach

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in utilities, public works, or operations support

Familiarity with service records, mapping systems, or work order management

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
