Job Description

Join our team as a laser operator, where you will create medical products such as biowearable sensors, wound care items, and diagnostic devices. This role involves working with various machines, so a willingness to cross-train is essential.

Responsibilities

Operate laser machines to create medical products.

Inspect parts as they are produced.

Conduct tests on parts to ensure quality.

Package items for distribution.

Document information both manually and digitally.

Essential Skills

Experience with machine operation and production.

Familiarity with laser operation and medical device assembly.

Skill in using micrometers and calipers.

At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing (machine operating, mechanical, or medical assembly).

Mechanical inclination.

Work Environment

Work in a smaller environment with 15-20 people on the 1st shift. The shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 4 pm, and Friday from 7 am to 11 am. The environment is quite loud, but employees can wear one earbud for personal audio. Lab coats and hair nets are worn, though it is not a full clean room.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.50/hr.
