The Senior Finance Analyst is the accounting lead for the Airport Services business unit at Oshkosh AeroTech providing accounting and financial support to advance the organization's business objectives. This role is responsible for overseeing general accounting activities, account reconciliations, and the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial statements and management reports. The Accounting Lead drives monthly financial analysis, forecasting, and the annual budgeting process for assigned areas, and ensures accurate processing of business transactions across multiple finance functions.
YOUR IMPACT

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support and grow the business. Lead financial analysis for assigned areas, prepare and present monthly results to management, and collaborate cross-functionally on complex business issues impacting forecasts and financial performance.
Apply strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, including ASC 606 revenue recognition. Perform general ledger postings, support sales tax reporting, internal and external audits, and payroll accounting for a large employee population. Ensure accurate accounting and reporting for a minimum of 45 individual income statements, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.
Lead the monthly close process for assigned areas, including account reconciliations and review of monthly financial reporting packages in compliance with Corporate Accounting Policies and Procedures (CAPP).
Assist with the management and administration of financial systems and processes. Lead the identification, implementation, and validation of procedural changes, and update Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation to reflect changes impacting internal controls.
Drive process improvements using technology and innovative solutions to increase efficiency and conserve resources. Direct and oversee shared services activities in accordance with standard work instructions. Monitor key operational metrics, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective action plans as needed.
Champion Oshkosh's People First competencies by actively engaging, developing, and connecting team members.
Identify, support, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Continuous Improvement Management System (CIMS) tools and concepts, and perform advanced financial analysis in assigned business areas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Four (4) or more years of related experience in accounting, finance, or treasury.
Ability to travel 10%.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with U.S. and international accounting regulations.

Pay Range:
$82,900.00 - $134,300.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
