Accounts Receivable Clerk/ Billing

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk with expertise in billing to join our team in Long Beach, California. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment within the service industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue customer invoices with precision and attention to deadlines.

Consolidate and analyze data from various platforms, including QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel.

Manage labor hour reports using Excel workbooks and ensure the information is accurate.

Review customer purchase orders to confirm proper billing and compliance with requirements.

Collaborate with project managers to verify billing details and address discrepancies.

Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections.

Maintain detailed records of billing activities and assist with reconciliation processes.

Adapt to a fast-paced work environment while handling complex billing tasks.

Provide support during training sessions to ensure seamless integration into processes. Requirements - Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, workbook management, and reconciliations.

Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or NetSuite is highly preferred.

Previous experience in project or construction billing is an advantage.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all billing activities.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure work environment.

Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes, including collections and cash applications.

At least one year of experience in a related role.
