Sodexo Healthcare is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Franklin Square Medical Center located in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a 390 bed facility with caring for patients in the community with emergancy needs, cancer treatment, family medicine, and women's center.

Incentives

Typical shift will be 6:00am - 4:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

What You'll Do

The Food Operations Manager will report to the General Manager and manage a staff of 65 MedStar frontline associates.

We are looking for candidates who will:

have oversight of day-to-day operations of all food operations

deliver high quality food service

achieve company and client financial targets and goals

develop and maintain client and customer relationships

develop strategic plans

create a positive environment

ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively

has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service

can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement -Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
