As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Site in Roanoke, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe activity, document findings, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and location procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Control access by monitoring entrances, checking identification and/or credentials, managing visitor logs, and directing deliveries and contractors according to location requirements.

Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.

Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate with supervision, site contacts, and/or public emergency services when required.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.

A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
