YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Innovation and Revenue Growth: As part of the GM's leadership team, the role collaborates to launch new product innovations and expand revenue growth.

End-to-End Supply Performance: Take full accountability for the cost, service levels, and execution of innovation initiatives within the regional category team. Ensure that all aspects of product supply, from

sourcing to distribution, are optimized to meet business targets and customer expectations.

Strategic Partnerships and CMOs: Responsible for External Manufacturing (CMO) relationships at the CMO Plant Manager, Strategic Account, and/or other critical stakeholder levels for value creation. Actively seek out opportunities for partnership and external innovation to enhance the category's competitive position and market presence. Responsible for CMO cost, supply chain performance, and all CMO PKIs impacting Bayer in collaboration with Quality, PRO, etc.

Category Operating Strategy: Collaborate with Global Category lead in development of 3-5 year operating strategy for the category, outlining key initiatives, priorities, and performance targets. Support execution and update the strategy in response to changing market conditions, business needs, and competitive pressures.

Category Demand Forecasting and Financial Performance: Lead the development of accurate demand forecasts and financial projections for the category. Monitor performance against targets and take proactive

measures to address any deviations or risks to financial objectives.

Factory Innovation and Cost Improvement: Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within manufacturing facilities. Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase production capacity while maintaining product quality and safety standards.

Rough Cut Capacity Planning: Develop and maintain short, mid, and long-term capacity plans for manufacturing facilities within the category. Ensure alignment with demand forecasts and strategic objectives to support business growth and operational excellence.

Team Leadership: Act as VACC (Visionary, Architect, Coach and Catalyst) to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment. Support teams to learn in rapid cycles and build capabilities needed to create value for customers and other stakeholders.

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or master's degree with multi-functional experience in Manufacturing, External Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Business Planning, Project Management, and Operational

Excellence/LEAN.

Demonstrated VACC skills leading teams and multi-functional team collaboration.

Experience in planning, forecasting, project management, external manufacturing related experience within the Consumer Product, Consumer Health, CPG or OTC industry.

Proven ability to define and execute Category Strategy.

Exceptional skills in solving complex business problems and using analytical techniques.

Experience in successful organizational transformation and change management initiatives.

Excellent project management skills, with experience managing cross functional teams and complex projects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Exceptional people leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners to concisely influence executive leadership peers.

Leading with purpose, driving inclusion, respecting differences, and showing up as authentic best self.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $ 144160.00 - 216240.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
