About the Role
The Clinic Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered, team-based medical care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. You will work closely with providers and care team members to support patients across the lifespan while maintaining professional nursing standards. This role blends clinical skill, critical thinking, and compassionate
communication in a fast-paced clinic environment.
What You'll Do
Patient Care & Clinical Support
Conduct patient assessments, triage, screenings, and care coordination in collaboration with providers
Administer medications, treatments, immunizations, and injections per provider orders
Assist with exams and procedures; perform wound care, specimen collection, and lab testing
Monitor patient responses and report critical values promptly
Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
Care Coordination & Education
Communicate with patients, families, providers, and care teams to ensure continuity of care
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, preventative care, and wellness
Identify health literacy needs and provide appropriate education and materials
Documentation & Quality
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Support audits, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory requirements (PCMH, UDS)
Participate in performance optimization and risk management activities
Team & Clinic Support
Participate in daily huddles and team meetings
Assist with inventory and supply management
Perform medical assistant duties when needed and maintain competence

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program
Current nursing license in the state of practice
BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN)
Two (2) years of nursing experience
Experience in a medical clinic or primary care setting
Experience working with diverse populations

Typical 40-hour workweek
