Our physical and occupational therapists work within OAH offices, delivering high-quality care in collaboration with OAH physicians. Join our team of dedicated therapists, assistants, and office staff to help patients regain mobility and return to active lifestyles in a supportive and dynamic environment. Working with Orthopedic Associates offers first-hand access to top-level surgeons in the state and the opportunity to observe various surgeries onsite. This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse population that offers a wonderful team atmosphere with experienced clinicians and some of the best orthopedic physicians, nurses and physician assistants in New England! Your Role: This position is primarily located in our Farmington, CT clinic, but has potential to float to other clinics as necessary. Clinic locations may include: Enfield, Glastonbury, Manchester, Plainville, and Rocky Hill. Shift includes 2 morning shifts (7am) and 2 evening shifts (until 7pm) a week Therapy services include joint replacement or other surgery, sports injuries, or extremity or back pain with limitation of function. The Physical Therapist (PT) independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain, with emphasis on physical dysfunction. This role encompasses evaluation skills and techniques, analysis of patients, and therapeutic application of physical and chemical agents, exercise and other procedures to maximize the patient's functional independence. Evaluation involves strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait and functional abilities in activities of daily living.
