Responsibilities The incumbent will serve as an Administrative Support Assistant for the N1 Administration Department. You will support Command Travel Administrator providing guidance and processing of travel authorizations and vouchers. You will assist Command Pay Personnel Administrator (CPPA) with military personnel pay and transportation transactions. You will perform variety of administrative clerical functions such as: prepare correspondence/directives, manage command mail, serve as custodian for command files/directives. You will manage Common Access Card (CAC) and military identification for all eligible members. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing administrative, clerical and/or secretarial support services assisting the business operations, including but not limited to correspondence, records management, and/or travel administration. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-07: -You have successfully completed one full year of graduate education that is directly related to the position OR -You have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the qualification requirements if the applicant can provide documentation indicating that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
