Job Description

Join our dynamic team supporting a specific unit within the company as an Accountant V. Be a part of significant initiatives for expansion, with an active role in business launches. This role involves complex reconciliations and month-end processes.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in business launches and expansion initiatives.

Perform complex revenue reconciliations using BlackLine.

Manage month-end close processes efficiently.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and technical accounting standards.

Navigate and resolve ambiguous financial situations.

Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Demonstrate ownership and accountability in line with leadership principles.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in BlackLine for financial close and accounting automation.

Solid understanding of GAAP and technical accounting.

Experience with OFAC regulations.

At least 6 years of experience in accounting and finance.

Expertise in balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close processes.

Ability to navigate ambiguity effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting.

10 years of progressive accounting experience.

CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech start-up or similar environment.

Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Aptitude for information technology.

Work Environment

This is a virtual position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States, with core hours adjusted to your local time zone. If located near an Copmany HUB, there is an option to work from the office. The majority of the team is based in Seattle, with others spread across various locations in the US.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68.00 - $72.00/hr.
